Why write at all if it can’t be fun?

And Whiskey Jug Genie is just fun. I’m so glad my husband came up with the idea. Imagine, if you will, one of the djinn trapped in a whiskey jug for 200 years. He’d spent considerable time before this in the deep south of the United States and picked up quite a southern accent.

Now imagine him freed in modern day London, bound to the owner of his jug, who is an apothecary shop owner. Martin, herbalist and occasional dabbler in white magic, has no idea what to do with this being in his apartment. In his initial state, he was certainly not fit for polite company.

Knowing nothing of the modern age, everything to Bubba–this name must change–is magical. How do you explain mobile phones without a little knowledge of what came before?

And now someone has noticed this djinn and wants to seize control of him from Martin.

Let chaos reign!

It may be a little while before this comes out, but it will be worth the wait.
