Whiskey Jug Genie is a humorous tale. Imagine a genie who has been trapped in a whiskey jug for over 200 years. A redneck genie who now finds himself released from the jug in modern London. His new master runs an apothecary and dabbles in white magic, but has no idea how to reverse the curse tying him to his jug. And as far as our genie is concerned, everything around him operates on some sort of magic.

Master of the Fleet is set in an alternate reality of the Pacific Northwest. Our leading man is a weather shaper, meaning he can manipulate the elements wind and water. As master of the fleet for his family’s merchant fleet, he keeps his ships safe while they’re out on the high seas. But his love life is a mess. After a disastrous trip to take his paramour back to her home kingdom ends in a forced marriage, there’s not much chance she will ever grow to love him. Adding to the whole catastrophe, they are also bound by a blood oath as well as marriage vows. I guess magic can’t fix everything.

Moonlight and Shadows is a short story set in Wyoming, up near Rock Springs and Green River. DEA gent, Shane Shadowstalker is stuck in traffic and at the rate things are going, he’s going to be late for his meeting with an informant. Deciding to change plans, he dropped is vehicle off at home and changed to run the distance to the other side of town. As a marathon runner, it was no problem and should get him there in plenty of time for his meeting. And at the rate they were getting the accidents cleared through town, it was a better option. But when he arrives at his destination, he finds the traffic snarl was the last of his problems.
