I love the cover for Master of the Fleet, but I don’t think it sells the story well.
Master of the Fleet deals with an alternate universe, magic, and romance. While the original cover shows romance, it does nothing for the rest of the story.
So I’ve reworked everything and think I have something which works better.

Richard is the owner, commander, and master of the fleet for the family’s merchant fleet up in the Pacific Northwest, in an alternate universe. As Master of the Fleet, he has commands wind and water to do his will, helping keep his ships safe out on the open seas.
He thinks he’s found the woman of his dreams and they’ve been courting for two years. When she suggests they go to her home kingdom for the fall festival, he thinks it would be a great idea to propose while there.
What he doesn’t know is that Anne-Marie never intends to marry–him or anyone else. Men are for milking for all they’re worth before moving on to new pastures and marks. Richard has been the best money maker in quite some time. The gifts he’s given her during their “courtship” will be easy to turn into cash at her next stop.
A little too much wine and excitement turn deadly when her temper gets away from her and she attempts to murder Richard during the Baron’s Banquet. Now bound by a vow, a blood oath, and marriage vows, how will she ever escape this prison she’s locked herself into? Married to a man who has reason to despise her?
Can Richard win the heart of the woman he loves? And can Anne-Marie open up to the possibility of love?
